CARING ABOUT FasHiOn AND pOP CulTuRE DOESN'T MAKE ME ANY LESS INTELLECTUAL

Hhhhhmmmmmnnn.........reading the titile of the blog..many are likely to be confused pondering over the question as to why I chose to blog about this....well....the reason being....today's modern age teenagers are transforming into people who seem to be immensely or rather i suppose, I should say...overtly fascinated by fashion trends...especially girls...that's right...GIRLS.....!!!!!

I am one such GIRL who I would say, is overtly fascinated by the world of Fashion....composed of tremendous glitter....glamour...excitement...and ofcourse....I am wide eyed to discover,explore and learn more about it. I yearn to know and learn more about it day-in-and-day-out!
I am also aware that, there are innumerable GIRLS out there who think the same as me...which is why I thought why not blog about this subject and voice my ideas pertaining to it on a global platform..!
I have often noticed, when I or any GIRL talks about what's latest happenings in the Fashion world...we are sure to raise many eye-brows!!...and leave many thunderstruck and jaw-dropped...assuming that we GIRLS are just plain wide-eyed babes who yearn to know and learn only about the Fashion world...and are least interested in something really really meaningful...thought-provoking and something which is worth pondering over.Many assume that such GIRLS aren't at all ambitious or career-oriented or attach crucial importance to education and being tremendously successful in their chosen fields....as stereotypes believe that, investing your time and energy into acquiring information about a new Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag or about the latest Hermes clutch that is acquiring its place of pride on the mantle in its showroom or browsing about the season's new hottest pair of Jimmy Choos or finding out who is the Next big Super-model is being unintelligent and not too useful.
But...the truth is CARING ABOUT FASHION AND POP CULTURE DOES NOT MAKE US ANY LESS INTELLECTUAL and our intellect isn't just limited to that. Just because we talk about Fashion and Pop Culture does not mean we lack knowledge in other arenas...we are only being 'OUT OF TE BOX' as we BELIEVE that a creative person should never remain in a neatly-labeled-box. We are definetly super-ambitious and Career-oriented and we are aware how pivoatal a role education plays in our lives as we know that the world is getting super-competitive and to survive and thrive in this highly competitive world where cut-throat competition is prevalent we have to carve our idebtity and be financially stable and super-successful and powerful, which is why good education is ofcourse highly critical.....but...at the same time...we dig our teeth into the irresistible Fashion world to attain info about the latest products which hit the shelves and also hit our NEXT-BIG BUY LIST!!!

So people.....please..it would be delightfully pleasing if you changed your stereotyped outlook towards GIRLS and try being out of the blues like us!!
The reason why I have typed the word 'girls' in capital throughout is to make everyone understand that we are more than just what we appear to be! There's a loooonggg way before you get to know the REAL us or should I say the REAL ME????
